At the Cannes Yachting Festival, 8–13 September 2026, Azimut showcased 13 yachts across its Fly, Seadeck, Magellano and Grande series. Four made their world premieres: the Fly 70, Seadeck 9, Magellano 27M and Grande 44M.
For prospective owners in the Philippines and Indonesia, the scale of that display made Cannes more than a launch event. It offered a chance to compare different ideas of life aboard—and to consider which Azimut best fits the people, places and journeys they have in mind.
Europa Yachts joined Azimut’s programme around the festival, including the dealers’ meeting in Antibes on Sunday, 6 September, the private preview on 7 September and the APAC cocktail reunion on 9 September.

The Fly range: four ways to enjoy the view
Azimut’s Fly series is a natural starting point for owners who want generous outdoor living alongside comfortable spaces for family and guests. Seeing four Fly yachts together at Cannes made the differences in size, accommodation and onboard use especially clear.
The Fly 53 and Fly 62 each offer three guest cabins, making them worth exploring when that arrangement suits the people who will regularly travel with you.
The new Fly 70 adds a fourth guest cabin and presents a particularly interesting choice at the stern. The Terrace Cockpit version displayed at Cannes has a shaded, aft-facing dining area with a transparent parapet and seating for eight. An alternative Beach Cockpit arrangement opens the transom to create a sunpad close to the water. The better choice depends on whether your ideal time at anchor centres on gathering around the table or moving easily between the yacht and the sea.

At the larger end of the Cannes Fly display, the Fly 82 offers four guest cabins and a two-cabin crew arrangement. For an owner considering more space and a more substantial crew setup, it is a useful comparison with the Fly 70.
These are distinct ways to use a yacht. The right starting point depends on your guest list, where you plan to keep the yacht and how you expect to spend your days aboard.
Magellano 27M: a Cannes concept brought to life
For Richard Sarinas, Europa Yachts’ Chief Marketing Officer, the Magellano 27M gave this year’s festival a satisfying sense of continuity. Azimut presented the project at Cannes in 2025; in 2026, the yacht made its world premiere.
With exteriors by Jarkko Jämsén and interiors by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi, the Magellano 27M takes a considered approach to travel. Its main deck is conceived as a loggia overlooking the water—a place to settle into the journey as much as admire the destination. Owners drawn to that outlook can also explore the Magellano 60, which joined it in the Cannes display.
“Seeing the Fly range together was a highlight of Cannes. I was equally struck by the Magellano 27M: we saw its concept presented here in 2025, and this year we could see that vision come to fruition. Then there was the stunning Grande 44M. Across three very different expressions of Azimut, the ambition and attention to life aboard were unmistakable.”

Seadeck 9 and Grande 44M: two striking interpretations of space
The Seadeck 9 draws life aboard toward the water. Its Fun Island extends across a series of terraces, with a pool integrated into the deck. If your ideal day flows between the saloon, outdoor seating and swimming, it is a model to examine closely. The Seadeck 6 and Seadeck 7 offer further ways into the series.

The Grande 44M, the largest Azimut in the Cannes lineup, makes a different impression. Its four-deck design reserves an entire deck for the owner. A mezzanine terrace and see-through plunge pool create a visual connection to the beach club below. The Grande 26M, Grande 30M and Grande 36M were also displayed, giving owners considering this scale several models to compare.

Where should your search begin?
If you are exploring your first Azimut at this scale, begin with the Fly 53 and Fly 62, then consider whether the Fly 70’s fourth guest cabin and choice of cockpit better suit your plans. If you are upgrading with more time outdoors in mind, compare the Fly 70 and Fly 82, then look to Seadeck for a different interpretation of life close to the water. The Seadeck 9, in particular, offers an illuminating comparison with the Fly 82: both give the stern a greater role in life aboard, each in its own way.
For journeys where time underway is part of the pleasure, explore Magellano. If owner privacy and larger-scale hospitality lead your brief, turn to Grande. Across the collection, your intended cruising area, guests, berth and crew arrangements will help bring the right choice into focus.
“What matters to our clients is how a yacht will work in their own waters and in their own lives,” says Thomas Cachera, CEO of Europa Yachts. “Cannes gives us the chance to compare the choices closely, then bring that understanding home to the Philippines and Indonesia.”
Europa Yachts welcomes inquiries about the Azimut collection in both the Philippines and Indonesia. Our team can help you narrow the models, consider configurations and discuss the next steps for your intended use.
