The Lagoon 47 made its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, joining seven other Lagoon sailing and power catamarans on display from September 8–13. Together, the eight boats offered a useful way to look beyond size alone: how do you want to spend your days aboard, who will join you, and where might the journey lead?
For buyers in the Philippines and Indonesia, the new 47 was the headline. The wider showcase made the next question easier to answer: which Lagoon best suits your plans?
Lagoon 47: A new connection to life outdoors
The Lagoon 47 brings one particularly meaningful change to this part of the range: a door connects the saloon directly to its 12 m² forward cockpit. That creates another place to gather without making guests walk around the side decks each time. The flybridge adds a separate space for taking in the view, while the optional smart room can be planned as a workspace, extra cabin or flexible room.

Those choices make the 47 worth a close look for an owner who wants sailing to remain central to the experience, with more ways for family and friends to settle in once at anchor. Its Panarea and Sorrento interior ambiances also show how personal the final boat can feel. For Europa Yachts, the model already has a connection to this region: one Lagoon 47 has been sold to a buyer in the Philippines.
“The Lagoon 47 was the model I was most excited to see at Cannes. That direct connection to the forward cockpit makes the spaces feel especially natural for time with family and friends. We’ve already sold one in the Philippines, and I believe more owners across the Philippines and Indonesia will see themselves in the life this boat makes possible.”

Which of the Cannes sailing catamarans fits your plans?
Lagoon 38: A welcoming start
The Lagoon 38 is a natural place to begin if you want the shared living experience of a sailing catamaran in the smallest model Lagoon displayed at Cannes. Its sociable saloon, extended transoms and connection between cockpit and interior make daily movement and time together central to the design. Consider it for family trips and cruising plans where you want generous living space without moving straight to a larger yacht.
Lagoon 43: More flexibility for family and guests
Step aboard the Lagoon 43 if cabin comfort and access matter most. Its additional aft entryway into each hull changes how guests board and move about, while its adaptable social spaces suit a changing mix of family and friends. Lagoon also presented a new three-cabin owner layout at Cannes, giving buyers another reason to compare configurations carefully.

Lagoon 55 Millennium: Built around a larger group
The Lagoon 55 Millennium takes a different approach to accommodation: six equally sized cabins, a large central galley and revised cockpit and flybridge spaces. It deserves consideration when the brief calls for more guests to enjoy comparable cabin comfort, including a hospitality or charter-oriented plan. A private owner seeking a different balance of personal and guest space should compare other Lagoon 55 layouts before choosing.
Lagoon 60: Outdoor living on a larger scale
The Lagoon 60 gives life outdoors a stronger role. Opening terraces frame its aft cockpit, while a forward door creates a direct route from the saloon to another gathering space. It is a compelling next step for owners who want to entertain and spend longer periods aboard, with several galley and cabin arrangements to consider.
SIXTY 5: A sailing yacht made more personal
The Lagoon SIXTY 5 moves into a more individually tailored sailing yacht. Its range of interior and deck configurations makes the planning conversation more personal: how much space belongs to guests, how will the crew operate, and what kind of extended travel does the owner have in mind?
EIGHTY 2: A sailing yacht shaped around its owner
For an owner committed to sailing on a much larger scale, the Lagoon EIGHTY 2 is the range’s expansive expression of that choice. Its flybridge can be furnished around the owner’s preferences; the aft platform extends the connection to the water, and the owner’s cabin can include a private terrace. At this size, the discussion begins with the desired life aboard and works back toward layout, crew and cruising plans.
EIGHTY 3: Lagoon’s power-catamaran alternative
The Lagoon EIGHTY 3 offered Cannes visitors a distinct choice. As the only power catamaran in Lagoon’s eight-boat display, it is for owners drawn to the space and social ease of a large catamaran while planning their journeys around motor cruising. Its design allows extensive personalization, with broad exterior living areas and space dedicated to a tender and activities on the water.

For Europa Yachts CMO Richard Sarinas, seeing the finished yacht brought a longer story into focus:
“I saw the EIGHTY 3 taking shape at Lagoon’s factory in March 2025. Seeing it on display at Cannes this year was a special moment—the vision we saw in production had become a yacht you could finally walk aboard. That journey from an idea to life on the water is part of what makes Lagoon so inspiring.”
For a buyer comparing Lagoon’s two largest Cannes displays, the first decision is clear: do you want sailing to be part of the journey aboard the EIGHTY 2, or would you rather explore with power aboard the EIGHTY 3?

Beyond the boats, a Lagoon community
Cannes also gave the Europa Yachts team time to reconnect with Lagoon colleagues and fellow Asia-Pacific dealers at a relaxed beach gathering. It was a fitting reminder that choosing a catamaran starts a longer relationship—with the builder, the local team and a community of people who share the pleasure of being on the water.
Start with the trips you expect to make most often. Think about the people aboard, your sailing or power preference, your intended cruising area and the amount of time you want to spend away. The eight boats at Cannes show how differently a Lagoon can answer that brief.
All eight displayed models are open for orders in the Philippines and Indonesia. Configuration and indicative timing are discussed for each order; this does not imply immediate delivery. Speak with a Europa Yachts specialist about the Lagoon that suits your plans.
