VIP Preview in Jakarta: An Exclusive First Look
The VIP Preview welcomed an exclusive group of influential yacht owners, investors, and lifestyle partners, offering an intimate first look at the vision, design, and facilities of Bali Gapura Marina.
MDI leadership—including Co-Founder Joseph Prabantara, Founder & President Ulf Backlund, and Marina Operations Lead Alberto Magnani—walked attendees through the marina’s concept and long-term plan to create a world-class yachting gateway in Bali.
The VIP Preview served as a platform to:
Network and engage with yacht owners, lifestyle partners, and maritime stakeholders
Explore pre-sales opportunities before public berth announcements
Strengthen industry access on topics such as permits, provisioning, taxation, regulation, and ownership solutions

Dock B Pilot Opening: A Landmark Event in Bali
On November 26, the Pilot Opening of Dock B in Bali marked the first operational phase of the marina. The event was graced by Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, highlighting the government’s support and underscoring Bali Gapura Marina’s significance for regional tourism and investment.
Dock B, which will accommodate 48 berths, is scheduled to open for commercial operations in December 2025. While the Welcome Station, VIP QICP area, concierge desks, provisioning, and lounges are still under construction, the event showcased the project’s rapid progress and high engineering standards.
